Who is the Strange Woman?

December 18, 2019 by Kevin Kleint 36 Comments

Contrary to popular belief, Solomon’s purpose in writing about the strange woman was not to use her as an example for young men to stay away from sexual immorality; there was something much deeper in his words.

We were robbed of learning their true meaning because our cemetery (seminary) – indoctrinated leaders were either unaware or unwilling to teach what Solomon wanted to convey to his son.

Though the book of Proverbs is thousands of years old, “the strange woman” remains an elusive yet powerful force on the world stage, hidden behind generations of deception, sucking any life she can find out of her victims and leaving their carcasses in a trail of blood behind her.

Make no mistake about it, “the strange woman” is alive and well . . . even “on the prowl” today.

Endowed with supernatural wisdom, Solomon once wrote of her:

Proverbs 7:26-27
For she has cast down many wounded, and all who were slain by her were strong men. Her house is the way to hell, descending to the chambers of death.

Identifying and avoiding this slayer of strong men is not a task that is form-fitted for the comfortable. In fact, it’s actually a very lonely road.

It requires facing the facts and calling things what they are. It requires walking away from familiar and popular beliefs that just don’t add up and embracing other unpopular beliefs that do.

Sadly enough, departing from “the strange woman” will cause you to make enemies among those you once held dear.

In fact, it will likely be the most costly decision you will ever have to make in your life.

I close this introduction out with a question to the seeker.

Do you love truth for the sake of truth, or do you love what is comfortable and familiar?

Proverbs 27:7
A satisfied soul loathes the honeycomb, but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.

Facing the truth about the strange woman can be a bitter pill, but will you love it?

If you take this dive with me, I believe it will settle a lot of questions and suspicions that you may have, but if you have made a covenant with “the strange woman,” it will require you to swallow “the bitter thing” and make some decisions.

Do you want a challenge in your walk with the Most High? Do you want to dig deep?

My path in coming to know the true God of the Bible has been similar to yours. I first became aware of your journey with Honor of Kings. Thank you as many of those posts were helpful to me in discerning where I had been, the real truth, and where I was headed. I have read all your Strange Woman posts so far. We are on the same track by the same training of the Holy Spirit. What you are learning and sharing in your blog is consistent throughout all of God’s Word, because He is consistent and true and is real wisdom. I am currently doing a blog study that began in Genesis and is now into Exodus. I look forward to your new posts and have subscribed.

    Hello, Shalom, and just wow..
I just stumbled upon HonorofKings.org, and read quite a lot of posts, (by the way thank you)!
Then, I almost had a panic attack when I realized there weren’t any current ones, and then came across your farewell. Of course, I read on.. so here I am.
All Glory be to HIM, of course, and I praise Him that I found the former, and now the latter website… because, I can relate! Praise to Him, finally someone who makes sense!
Matthew 7:7 Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.🌺

These past several months I have been going through a season of change, awake to God’s will for my life. I know He has taken me in a direction where He wants me to help others move away from false doctrine and false prophets. He has been guiding me in this direction and now I am seeing it more clearly than ever. Ending up on this blog and the one you recently retired, and finding your book (Prophetic Masquerade) combined with my personal Bible study in my “church” (aka my house) is all part of it.

I happen to live in a part of the country where false doctrine and false prophecy runs rampant and I am literally around it all day when I am work, etc. I know we need to help these folks wake up and let go of their false religion and understand the truth. I appreciate the work you are doing and am anxious to read more of your work. Thank you.

Angie, I absolutely do!! Torah was given to Moses “and all the strangers traveling with him” not just the Hebrews. And it was given “for ALL GENERATIONS.” That means EVERYONE who loves Him.

Thank you for posting that question!! Blessings and Shalom to you and yours!

I commend you on your task of undertaking this study into the strange woman we were warned about and sharing your gleanings as you uncover them. So many in the body today desperately need to learn and take heed! How I wish I would have understood and interceded better on behalf of my sons!! May the Lord bless you and keep you as you continue to dive deeper into the treasures and mysteries in His Word.

I know first hand about both the joy and the pain of following after the truth as God has revealed it in the scriptures. I pray that Yahweh will strengthen your heart and guide your way. Please add me to your mailing list. Thank you and blessings.

I will be keeping you in prayer as you take the narrow way of uncompromising truth. Yah has led me to appreciate His narrow way of uncompromising truth. I look forward to His leading through you.

Hello Kevin, I’m grateful you have decided to poke your head out of the rabbit hole and let the rest of us know you are alright. I suspect that you may be surprised how many of us are actually already there with you, although we are also a work in progress and just trying to follow the most High wherever he leads. I believe this is a genuine move of God, confusion has fallen off, the Joy of the Lord is being made manifest and we are already seeing the moving of His Spirit to set the captives free.

We continue to pray for you. Christa

I am always open to new truths. My experience isthat I check everything out with the word of God. If the Spirit in me bears witness then I can incorporate new ideas in with my beliefs. I have always been hungry for more.

I’m curious as to what you’ll find, but I also know that some things aren’t meant for us to discover on this side of life. Only Yahweh knows the whole story and that is for us to learn when we’re finally with Him. I’m more than content to wait and continue studying His Torah (and the rest of His Word) until then, but I always enjoy what others discover because so much of what He has given us is a mystery. Diligence and patience is the key.

I have often looked at the strange woman. I know what my impressions were as I looking at this was like standing next to a mountain and trying to see it all. I couldn’t. Sign me up. I respect your honesty. Alot of my path of study and observation has been the same and I appreciate the honesty of your journey that there are briefs you don’t hold onto any longer. I have experienced that. Thank you for sharing your journey

Finding out the Truth is a hard pull to swallow and it’s sad but once you find the truth you can’t go back! The truth keeps leading and establishing to go further. The truth of God is the only thing that matters even if it means being alone.

    Good decision Brother…
All we have to be is a desciple of Jesus Christ … and the learning never ends ……
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 1 Corinthians 13:12
